You may take the AE certification exam only once with purchase of the AE Testing Bundle. If you fail the AE certification exam, re-take exams are available at an additional cost.

How many questions are on the exam?
There are 115 questions on the exam.

How long do I have to complete the exam?
Candidates have 90 minutes to complete the exam.

I need to re-take the AE certification exam. How much does it cost?
If you fail the AE certification exam, you may re-take the exam for an additional cost of $55.00 (U.S. dollars).

How many times may I re-take the AE certification exam?
You may re-take the exam as many times as you need.

Why should I keep my membership current?
NSAP members should keep their memberships current in order to receive the full benefits of the NSAP, such as:

Recognition of accomplishment though membership status

If I lose my membership to the NSAP, do I lose my certification as well?
No. AE certified professionals are not required to periodically renew their certifications to retain them.

Can I share my account with my friend?
No. Your purchase is limited to single user access. 

After I purchase, do you send me a CD?
No, all of our content and exam taking process is online. Once you purchase your exam online, you can take your practice exams from any computer that has internet access.

Does your site keep track of my score?
Yes. Our site keeps track of every exam you take, the answers that you select, and the scores for each exam. It also gives you performance benchmarks and lets you know how you are doing in all areas.
